Sunday School Starts September 11th
September is fast on it’s way to being half over and I haven’t quite given up hope that summer will not end! I have enjoyed the warm weather and fun trips away, but I have missed seeing all of you!
But guess what? That will change this Sunday Morning, the 11th, when Sunday School will start again!!
Our big news is that we have a new teacher for the 2nd -6th grades! She is a very familiar face and it is Robin Vaughan. She will be brining some fresh new ideas and creativity to our school. Patty will continue teaching but will be focusing on pre-school though first grade, and I will be hanging out with the kids in 7th through 12th grade.
As always, we are looking for any help that anyone would like to offer in our Sunday School program, if you would like to offer some of your time and talent, please see any of us or Pastor Bill.
We would love to see all of you on Sunday and ask that you invite others to come. We all put alot of effort in each week in the hopes of having crowded classrooms and welcome any new kids that may come.
I pray that you all had a good transition into school this year and are able to come on Sunday.
Blessings to you all.

Mother’s Day
We have been having fun in Sunday School and I have enjoyed all of the kids. It seems that we are all so busy that it is hard to get us all their at once. Now that skiing season is over and you would think we would get bigger groups along comes the Spring season and Addison United soccer tournaments and AAU Basketball tournaments over the weekends. I have heard from a number of you about all of your commitments and am doubly appreciative of the time that you are all able to make it to church. So, Thank You!
This Sunday is Mother’s Day and last week the kids prepared something special for the Mom’s to all recieve this Sunday, we will be going out into the community (2nd grade up) for Sunday School to visit the Nursing home and some shut-ins to deliver that something special to other Moms.Hope to see you!
We only have 3 weeks left! The last day of Sunday School is going to be May 22nd. On that Day we will be recognizing Seniors and Patty and I will have some fun stuff planned for the kids. It’s hard to believe another school year is almost finished.
Keep in mind that we are always looking for more volunteers for our classrooms. Specifically a teacher for grades 2-6 for next year.Pray about it and maybe God will answer our prayers with you!!!
Blessings to you All.

Let’s go see HOP!
To everyone in Sunday School and Parents,
If anyone is interested, we will be trying to go together as a group to see HOP at the Marquis Theater in Middlebury on Saturday night, ( the 9th). We will meet in front of the church at 5:30 PM, the movie starts at 6:30 PM.
This will give all of the kids who still have a movie pass to use it. Please bring extra money as even if you have a pass, it was for a value of a matinee and you will need a little more money!
I will arrrange to have people carpool, so please, RSVP if you are coming and if your kids are riding with us, or you want to come also and will be driving and if you have room in your vehicle!
I am assuming that HOP will still be playing in Middlebury at that time. I have left several messages with the theater to confirm. If for some reason it is not, we will try to go to Williston instead and I will send out a notice to you all.
Please send this on to anyone else in the church who might be interested!
I will be waiting to see if anyone is coming with me!
